Terms of Service

1. About Tote Goat

Tote Goat provides moving tote rental services in the Okanagan, British Columbia. By placing a booking through our website, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you have questions, contact us at hello@totegoat.ca.

2. Service Area

We serve the Kelowna to Vernon corridor, including Kelowna, West Kelowna, Lake Country, Coldstream, and Vernon. Deliveries outside this core zone may incur a distance surcharge of $0.20/km from the nearest zone boundary, calculated at the time of booking.

3. Rental Packages & Pricing

All prices are in Canadian dollars and include applicable taxes unless otherwise stated.

• Starter — 25 totes + 1 dolly, $98.99
• Standard — 35 totes + 2 dollies, $138.99
• Pro — 45 totes + 3 dollies, $158.99

All packages include a 10-day rental period.

4. Booking & Payment

Full payment is required at the time of booking. Payments are processed securely by Stripe. Your booking is confirmed once payment is successfully processed and you receive a confirmation email.

5. Delivery & Pick-Up Windows

• Drop-off: Monday–Thursday 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM, Friday–Sunday 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Pick-up: Daily 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM

Please ensure someone is available at the address during the delivery window. If we are unable to complete a delivery or pick-up due to access issues, a redelivery fee may apply.

6. Cancellations & Refunds

• More than 48 hours before your scheduled drop-off: Full refund.
• Less than 48 hours before your scheduled drop-off: No refund.
• Cancellation by Tote Goat: If we are unable to fulfill your booking, you will receive a full refund.

7. Tote Care & Return Conditions

You are responsible for the totes during the rental period. At pick-up time:

• All totes must be empty and stacked neatly
• Totes must be accessible at the pick-up address by 4:00 PM on the pick-up date
• Totes must be returned in the same condition as delivered (normal wear excepted)

You are liable for the replacement cost of any totes that are lost, stolen, or damaged beyond normal use during your rental period.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tote Goat's liability is limited to the amount you paid for your booking. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of our services.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of British Columbia.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised date. Your continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
